Hello friends,

As I sat down to write this, Black people in the USA and in the diaspora were reeling from news of yet another Black man (Tyre Nichols) killed by the police. This time the officers were Black. That has created some opportunities to increase people’s understanding, though many of us are feeling too bruised to want to do so, especially since there have been so many other murders and hate crimes in just three short weeks. That said, here are some points to consider.
