Why Can't We End Oppression? - SARN Minis #76 Transcript
Hi, I'm Sharon Hurley Hall. Welcome to the Sharon's Anti-Racism Newsletter podcast, SARN Minis.
Today, I'd like to share something I wrote on LinkedIn back in April. It touches on my why and on three ways I serve my community.
Tell me why we can't end oppression.
All it takes is will and action. We humans have plenty of both for things that matter less. So why not for the things that matter most?
Many of us see ahead to the logical consequences of our actions or inaction. Some of us have warned about this for years and even decades. The powers that be aren't listening and we have to make them listen. We have to keep telling our stories. We have to uncover what's being hidden and find other ways to retain what's being erased.
This is why I do what I do. And for once, everything fits.
