There were a lot of topics I was thinking about for this podcast episode - I still want to talk about Kamala Harris and Kemi Badenoch, for example.
But as I was looking through my feed, I came across a story about a seven year old boy whom his older schoolmates - I believe they were about 9 - tried to hang! As far as I understand it, the 7 year old is Black and the older kids are white.
Frankly, I was appalled and hurt. For someone racialised as Black, anything that looks like a lynching - and what else could you call this - raises epigenetic trauma.
