Hello {{ first name | friends}},

I was introduced to Annie Campbell by a mutual friend, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable conversation. Once we’d talked, I knew I wanted to help get the word out about this incredibly useful initiative. Read on to learn more about The Black Life Coach Directory.

Annie, tell me briefly about your background prior to founding The Black Life Coach Directory

Prior to founding The Black Life Coach Directory I spent 17 years in the pharmaceutical industry, then retrained as a Life Coach 4 years ago. It was my personal experience of trying to find a Black life coach led me to Founding the directory.

Give me the elevator pitch for The Black Life Coach Directory

The Black Life Coach Directory is the UK’s only platform dedicated exclusively to Black life coaches. It’s a central hub where you can find qualified, culturally attuned professionals who truly get you.

And in more detail?

Our initiative is driven by two core goals:

Firstly, we significantly increase the visibility of Black coaches among both individuals and organisations. We achieve this through targeted outreach across Black community networks, strategic media features, press coverage, and active, high-impact networking.

Secondly, and equally important, we build a safe, supportive community where Black coaches can elevate one another through shared knowledge, training, and education. We provide an inspiring online ecosystem where listed coaches enjoy complimentary workshops, webinars, and professional development training. Our aim is to help them thrive not only as exceptional coaches, but as sustainable Black business founders.

What inequity were you trying to address, and why is this important?
